Talk:Tornado outbreak of April 6–9, 1998

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

1998 and 2003 are BOTH the year with the second most on record? Which is it? Nilfanion 22:03, 11 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I believed it is 2003 - surpassing 1998, although others may try to confirm that, but I know that 2003 holds the record for tornadoes in one week.--JForget 19:59, 11 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Tornado Table edit

I've added a tornado table for the outbreak, but I've omitted tornadoes in the Great Lakes, been not sure if it's from the same system. If it's the case, you can add up to the table--JForget 03:04, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Pictures edit

Do any pictures of the F5 tornado exist? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.185.255.233 (talkcontribs)

I haven't seen one site which has a picture of the tornado. Also I don't think that the ABC 33-40's Birmingham tower cam caught the tornado as well mostly because it happened after dark and it was also probably rain-wrapped.--JForget 13:57, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Name edit

I moved "Birmingham Tornado of April 1998" to "April 1998 Birmingham tornado" to comply with Wikipedia:Naming conventions (events). --Rosiestep (talk) 23:25, 11 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wylam Heights edit

"Wylam Heights" is a section of Birmingham and not Fairfield. I know, I live there. Please stop introducing erroneious information. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 02:42, 29 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
