Regarding the sentence:

• He worked with scientists based in Poissy, France and tried to grow up a university in the town. Within a few years his aims began to be realised as medical students crowded his lectures.

This appears to be lifted from fr: wiki ->

... which is fine, except that we need a ref for this. A French language one will do just fine. (According to this site, there was a mayor of Poissy named Jean-François Senincourt, so that bit seems sound enough.) --Mais oui! (talk) 04:51, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
