Although it is unclear whether Veritas vos liberabit is somewhow related to the Auschwitz slogan Arbeit macht frei, it would be a good idea if anybody could do some relevant research on a possible connection between the two. There is some indication that the original author of Arbeit macht frei, Rudolf Hoess, was brought up in a strict Catholic background, meaning that would have presumably heard of the original phrase found in the Gospel of John.
