Accreditation and The Seattle School edit
Seems like there's a bit of confusion on The Seattle School's accreditation status. I've added sourced data on the school's accreditation but people continuously edit this information or replace it with misinformation. I'm unsure why people are making these edits without sourcing their statements. Remove the statements about Stanley Grenz and Brian McLaren. While still accurate, they have both been gone from the school for more than 13 years in the Theology section.
Replace the following statements in the Academics section:
The school also offers non-credit certificate programs, including some offered at The Allender Center that offers non-credit certificates, workshops, and conferences on healing from trauma and abuse.
With this:
The school also offers two non-credit certificate programs: Certificate in Resilient Leadership and Relationally Focused Psychodynamic Therapy Post-Graduate Certificate,and certificates, workshops, and conferences on healing from trauma and abuse through The Allender Center.
Replace existing language in the Accreditation and Approvals section with this:
The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology is regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.[4] Additionally, the school is nationally accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS).[5] The school has "degree authorization" by the State of Washington and Title IV authorization by the Federal Department of Education for federal student financial assistance.
I have already edited the page to reflect these changes, but was reminded that, since I have a relationship with the school, I need to have someone else do it (or approve it). I provided links to the new Accreditation body and links to the school's web page that clearly indicate the not-for-credit programs offered. I am new to this so I hope I am now following the correct steps.
