The Opium War (film)The Opium War – No need for a disambiguator, because target is just a redirect Petr Matas 05:05, 12 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

This is a contested technical request (permalink).  Philg88 talk 07:32, 12 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
I do not concur that this is an uncontroversial move. The film is about the First Opium War, referred to also as the Opium War, (hence the redirect). I am not convinced that the film is the primary topic of this title and would prefer seeing it vetted by a requested move.--John Cline (talk) 06:34, 12 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
I agree with John Cline. The primary topic is clearly the Opium War itself, not the movie about it. The war is going to be primary topic rather than the movie about the war, every time. Jack N. Stock (talk) 06:59, 12 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose as a re-creation of historical events, there must be a note, or the reader will think that the contents of the re-creation as a real historical events.--Tr56tr (talk) 16:49, 14 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose the primary topic is certainly the (first) opium war itself. -Zanhe (talk) 18:37, 14 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
