Burns

Looking at the linked source, Herbert Lockyear does not say it is similar to the parable, but that they illustrate the fact we do not spend enough time examining our own faults. This is one of many implications of the parable, but it is not similar to the parable. Judging others

Erm... Shouldn't Matthew 7:1 be "Judge not, that ye be not judged" 95.146.57.115 (talk) 18:53, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

Grammar

Do we need the line "The first two verses use plural "ye" and "you", and the next three verses use the singular "thou", "thy" and "thine" to the individual. (Luke 6:41 was translated "thou" after using "ye" in Luke 6:37.)" when this is standard English? It might make sense in the simple English Wiki, but one assumes here readers can distinguish plural from singular. Martin of Sheffield (talk) 12:12, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
