Plot: introduction or whole thing? edit

The Plot Introduction ended with the following paragraph: "After his partial recovery he encounters a woman who is nearly the image of his dead love, and turns out to be the same person, an actor hired by the friend to cover up the murder of his actual wife." I haven't read the novel, but if the film is anything to go by, this takes us way beyond a Plot Introduction and is practically a full-blown synopsis. I've therefore replaced it with the following: "After his partial recovery he encounters a woman who is nearly the image of his dead love, and he becomes obsessed with her." which leaves the second half of the novel/film unknown. If anyone wants to replace the Plot Introduction with a Synopsis, go ahead, but we shouldn't have a big spoiler in a so-called introduction. Custardslice7 (talk) 08:26, 26 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
