A well deserved award. Her books are good. I haven't read them all but of those that I have read this was the best. The sibling "reunion" in the latter part of the novel is particularly poignant. Here and at Rosemary Sutcliff I have introduced as a source [ref name=taliesin] the 1986 "Modern Arthurian Literature" interview. I have barely utilized it --here only concerning the children/adult and the Arthurian dimensions of classifying the novel.
