Fair use rationale for Image:Five heartbeats.jpg

edit

Image:Five heartbeats.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

King or Kane?

edit

Could we get a consensus here as to which one is correct? Thanks. DonIago (talk) 15:35, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Given that nobody else has weighed in on this, I'll assume King is correct per this article. DonIago (talk) 18:02, 28 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
I seem to remember it being King, but it's been too long for my memory to be reliable on that point. Does it not say in the credits? Or alternatively, on any of the magazine and newspaper covers which appear in the film?--Martin IIIa (talk) 22:23, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
To be clear, I think the article you link is perfectly sufficient reason to keep it at "King". It's just that confirmation from the primary source would really seal it.--Martin IIIa (talk) 23:04, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
I've never actually seen the film, so I can't speak to whether primary sourcing is an option. There was another, possibly more authoritative secondary source available when I Googled around, but I couldn't get the site to function properly for me. In any case, I'm happy enough more clearly establishing that the onus is now on anyone who wants to claim it's Kane. DonIago (talk) 23:25, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Seems odd that the actual band The Five Heartbeats mentioned in the article does not have an article of its own. Lewis Goudy (talk) 08:02, 23 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
