mst3k Quotes

edit

Ok. Mst3k is a funny show. In fact, i'm watching this movie's episode right now. But the "selected quotes section" is currently more closely approximating an out-of-order transcript of the hecklers' dialogue. I've removed the section from the article completely, archiving it at /mst3k. If anyone wants to take on the task of picking through the archiving and actually selecting quotes for the selected quotes section, be my guest. Shaggorama 07:35, 25 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Great, quasi-satirical plot analysis. It really captures the essence of The Final Sacrifice in the context it deserves.

On a more sensible tangent, is Rowsdower actually a real name? On first seeing the film I assumed that it was an odd but nonetheless well-known Canadian surname, but of course all the current Google returns point to this film. Does it exist in the real world outside The Final Sacrifice? -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 22:32, 8 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Removal of "needs infobox" tag

edit

This article has had its infobox tag removed by a cleanup using AWB. Any concerns please leave me a message at my talk page. RWardy 06:23, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Critical reception

edit

The film is notorious, post-MSTK, for having some hammy acting, a draggy plot, and very low production values. This is something that is hard to get across in an objective encyclopaedia article, especially so in this case because the film seems to have made no impact on the world between its release and its appearance on MSTK. Did it have any kind of wide release? Was it ever shown on television? Are there any contemporary critical appraisals (e.g. in one of those [The Aurum Film Encyclopaedia|Aurum encylopaedias])? -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 13:08, 29 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wrong roles...

edit

"...Bruce J. Mitchell as Zap Rowsdower and Christian Malcolm as Troy McGreggor". According to the film's credits, these should be the other way around, i.e. Christian Malcolm played Zap Rowsdower. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.56.90.213 (talk) 02:51, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

The credits in the movie are wrong. Are you surprised? Cratylus3 (talk) 03:57, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
