Hmmm... neither do I, but it does look like it needs to be a little un-jumbled. --Darthkillyou 16:52, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yooks=up, Zooks=down Does anyone know if the name "Big Boy Boomeroos" were a play on the Little Boy atomic bomb dropped on Japan in World War II? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.73.197.245 (talk) 09:06, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Origin of the Word "Yook" edit

I think it's very possible that Geisel invented the word "Yook" as a wordplay/abbreviation on "eucharist," referencing the debate between Catholics and Protestants over the blood and body of Christ. The battle in Swift's Gulliver's Travels between the Liliputians and Blefuscu over which side to break an egg on is a parody of the eucharist debate, and is, of course, very similar to the premise of The Butter Battle Book. --JohnnyLurg (talk) 03:44, 16 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Title card at the end of the television special edit

There have been a couple instances of people changing the text of the article to say that the title card at the end of the television special reads "To be continued..." instead of "The End (maybe)". When I watch the special (available here (YouTube link)), it clearly says "The End (maybe)". Here is a direct link to the title card in question (again just a YouTube link). Is it possible there are different versions of the special? Does anyone have any background or resources for this? I have been unable to find a different version but it seems odd that separate people (or different IP addresses at least) would make the same change months apart.
