Art Garfunkel edit

Season 9: Ep. 16 08:41 you're sort of Art Garfunkel of the universe. what's the point to mention this singer? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartrod (talkcontribs) 21:10, 17 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

I believe it meets the criteria noted at WP:NEPISODE and should be restored it has a standalone plot. Legobro99 (talk) 16:45, 16 September 2022 (EST)

I can't agree given the state of the article prior to the redirect being put in place. Can you provide more (real-world) details regarding the episode to flesh the article out more? DonIago (talk) 20:55, 16 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
it mainly focuses on Brian and Stewie trying to restore the universe and it recieved positive reviews on Imbd. Legobro99 (talk) 21:19, 16 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
IMDb is not a reliable source, and for me to support removing the redirect I'd want to see something more substantive than a barebones discussion of how well-received the episode was. Things like production notes, or that it stirred up some sort of controversy. You might take a look at "The Luck of the Fryrish", which is still fairly slight for an article, but mentions that the episode won at least one award and showed up on Top Ten lists and includes some info regarding the making of the episode. Astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson, is credited as the Scientific Consultant for this episode. Legobro99 (talk) 03:23, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
You're not providing substantive content here, just single sentences. DonIago (talk) 05:34, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson, is credited as the Scientific Consultant for this episode. Meg did not have any speaking lines in this episode. The scenes in Italy skip between Florence and Venice as the DVD commentary explains that Seth wanted the air battle to cover all of Italy. Bertram firing rockets and striking the Coliseum in Rome are part of the animatic but were dropped for time. Legobro99 (talk) 08:08, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Can you elaborate on Tyson's contribution beyond "he got a credit"? Meg having no lines is WP:TRIVIA. I'm not sure the part about the scenes in Italy matters, and things are dropped for time all the time. You're still failing to provide any real substance here or demonstrating how this episode is particularly notable, in my estimation. DonIago (talk) 14:14, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
"So, we have lunch, he asked me 20 questions about the Big Bang. And I go, 'Oh, he's a curious guy and I love it, because he likes science.' Later on I watch an episode of Family Guy and Stewie's time machine goes back to before the Big Bang. But then at the end it says, 'Science consultant: Neil deGrasse Tyson.' So, what I'm saying is, 'I'm there for the artists when they need me." Seth asked him about questions about the big bang. Legobro99 (talk) 20:43, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm not really seeing how that makes this episode notable, sorry. DonIago (talk) 23:05, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Seth asked for help from him when making the episode Legobro99 (talk) 23:53, 17 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
You're really not providing anything here that's convincing me this episode is notable enough to merit its own article. I recommend getting other editors engaged or providing significant substantive material that could be added to the article. Not bits and pieces as you have above, but at least one clear, reliably-sourced paragraph. DonIago (talk) 01:07, 18 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
