Question
editWas this the same Thaddeus Lynch who was a member (and deputy speaker) of the Senate of Northern Ireland? Warofdreams talk 00:37, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know, but it seems an unlikely career path to go from (presumably Ulster Unionist) Senator in Northern Ireland in the 1940s, to Fine Gael TD for Waterford in the 1950s. Snappy56 (talk) 08:34, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
- There were also Nationalist and Labour Senators who sometimes took the Deputy Speaker post (although probably not in the 1940s - but he could have been an independent), and the dates do work, but I agree it doesn't sound very likely. Warofdreams talk 09:19, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
