Lead Sentence Needs a Revision edit

Tenkara fly fishing ... is a traditional type of fishing practiced in Japan that should not be confused with fly fishing.

This struck me as a pretty bizarre lead sentence. My inclination is to simply delete everything in this sentence after 'Japan' as a matter of tidying up and leave it at that for now, though I thought I would give a heads-up here first in case somebody feels very strongly about it for whatever reason. That some people maybe mistake tenkara fly fishing for traditional fly fishing might be worth mentioning somewhere in the article body, but it certainly doesn't hold such significant encyclopedic relevance that it would belong in the lead sentence (and probably not even in the lead paragraph). And for that matter, calling it "tenkara fly fishing" in the same sentence that we're being advised not to confuse it with "fly fishing" is just plain silly. —Jgcoleman (talk) 22:46, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
