great film ..
but hmmm one math thing:
29 Billion bottles of water
if we say have 300,000,000 people and use 30,000,000,000 bottles per year
that's about
1000 bottles per person per year / 365 days = 2.7 bottles of water per day
c'mon not EVERY one in USA buys 2.7 bottles of water ..
I think 1 in 10 of my friends do that ..
hmmm although who knows numbers might be offset by those that just buy 100x packs from Costco or so to get ALL their water from 16 oz bottles for whole family .. they would go through 5+ a day .. but still that would not give such offset to bring it to 2.7 bottles of water per person in entire USA .. total 30,000,000,000 bottles per year
then in film it says
every day we throw away 30 million single-served bottles of water.[5]
hmm if that's 30,000,000 * 365 = 10,950,000,000 or 10 billion .. not 29 billion
any light on this?
just curious
BUT even if it's 1/1000 of that .. it doesn't matter .. it's devastating .. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 43.249.186.218 (talk) 08:15, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
