Orphaned references in Tanks in the Soviet Union edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Tanks in the Soviet Union's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "JED The Military Equipment Directory":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 16:52, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I removed images of tanks that were not Soviet origin edit

I removed four images of Israeli or Egypt tanks that were US, British or French origin as this article is of Soviet armour. I believe this article has still far too many images - on a large screen the images spill out below the reference section. MKFI (talk) 21:15, 15 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ommision of Iosef Stalin (IS) tanks from the WWII Segment edit

There is no reference to the IS heavy tank series in the WWII. Iosef Stalin (IS) Tanks They're significantly more important to Soviet WWII tank history than any of the prototypes that were included, since IS tanks actually entered mass production, supplanting the KV tanks, and went on to spearhead Soviet offensives from 1943 onwards.

After the T-34, IS tanks are the second most important Soviet tanks of WWII. Iosef Stalin (IS) Tanks

Article lacks Iran-Iraq war section. edit

Iran-Iraq war saw a lot of tank on tank combat, and in fact was one of the main reasons for T-72 popularity with export customers. I think an overview of Soviet tanks during conflict would be very helpful F.Alexsandr (talk) 22:39, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
