Shakespeare and Company edit

Whose bookstore was located at 8 rue Dupuytren? Was this Beach's first bookstore? I think so. But this is not clear. Could the paragraph be improved? Grantsky (talk)

Personal life edit

There is a lot of biographical information here - all culled from one page [1], it would be useful if there were other citations as well, especially about her personal life - AKeen 17:10, 16 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Adrienne edit

In the book by Charles Glass "Americans in Paris", Adrienne is stated as dying on 20 June 1950. It also states that they ceased their relationship in the war years when Adrienne took a new lover, however remaining best friends with Sylvia. This contradicts the information on this page. The photograph linked in this article is of Whitman's Shakespeare and Co., not Beach's. Rogerson9 (talk) 19:26, 11 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Garner Article edit

An article in the New York Times by Dwight Garner is cited several times in this article, but each time I failed to find the relevant information in the article. Eroica (talk) 11:00, 8 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, Eroica. All of this stuff was added, uncited, by this editor [2], who also added a fair amount of uncited stuff to the Adrienne Monnier article, This article really needs to be gone over with a fine-tooth comb and all the misinformation removed.
