You appear to be continuing your edit-war under an anonymous IP address, 96.232.186.27. Anyone can come to Wikipedia and claim to be anybody they want. You could simply be a fan trying to whitewash history. You could be an art dealer trying to burnish the reputation of an artist whose work you're trying to sell. Who knows? If this were real, Joe Giella would go to Alter Ego and have editor Roy Thomas run a correction. But you're not doing that. If that happens, cite it. Until then, stop disrupting Wikipedia or we'll need to ask for admin intervention to block this account and protect the article from anon IPs. --Tenebrae (talk) 05:14, 18 December 2013 (UTC)

To avoid anyone seeing Alter Ego #52 and re-adding what has been proven to be inaccurate information, a correction appears in Alter Ego #132, (May 2015), p. 69. To avoid repeating the inaccurate information, I have edited it out of the following published note:
"SPECIAL NOTE: Nancy Shores Karlebach, daughter of the great Golden Age artist Syd Shores, has asked Alter Ego to print a much-belated correction with regard to her father. In an interview printed in A/E #52 (Sept. 2005), fellow artist and friend Joe Giella stated.... Joe has since said publicly that he believes he confused Syd with someone else in that instance; but in the meantime that bit of mistaken data has found its way into the online Wikipedia entry on Shores. It’s hoped that Giella’s statement, confirmed here in A/E, will convince the good folks at Wikipedia to delete that tidbit of misinformation from their entry. Syd Shores was still working as a valued artist for Marvel Comics when he passed away at the too-young age of 60 in June of 1973."
