Swadhinata Stambha → Independence Monument (Bangladesh) – My view is that it would be a lot easier for English speakers to find this article as the “Independence Monument (Bangladesh)” as opposed to “Swadhinata Stambha”... I understand that but the vast majority of English speakers will not understand the native name and will have trouble searching for this article. AMomen88 (talk) 21:21, 3 April 2021 (UTC)

• Neutral It's hard to tell what the common name is in reliable English language sources, judging from Google Scholar results[1][2] (most of the results for "Independence Monument" Bangladesh actually refer to different monuments.) • Oppose- Swadhinata Stambha is the official name and common name of this specific monument. Independence monument can refer to the any number of monument in Bangladesh and there is quite a few. Is someone searching for Independence monument of Bangladesh looking specifically for this monument? I find that conclusion to be a stretch.Vinegarymass911 (talk) 04:41, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

There is no other monument in Bangladesh known as the "Independence Monument".
