editThe famous scene where Galactus' helmet, the Silver Surfer's surfboard, and Captain America's shield appear occurs on page 17 of issue 7 of Strikeforce Morituri. The letters page to #14 states that SM did not take place in the Marvel Universe. Well, since it took place in the future it was not Earth-616 anyway.
SM#13 has extensive backstory on their future Earth, and I think #11 did, too.

I know that the comic kept saying that Bruce Higashi died when the Horde nuked the Black Watch escape craft. But Radian was shown a Horde prisoner that was identical to Higashi down to the uniform. Now we know that the Horde carried a virus that successfully bonds the "new metabolism" to the patient and cancels out the Morituri Effect. So was this really Higashi?
Of course, it doesn't really matter if it was Higashi because he would have died anyway when the VXX199 destroyed the Horde fleet around the Earth.
It just raises interesting possibilities...

I know that Scatterbrain reached out to Scanner to warn him just before he (Scatterbrain) died. And I know that Will (the A.I.) used Scatterbrain's image and personallity to warn Scanner of the VXX199 ten years after the Horde War. But what I don't know is whether it was Scatterbrain or Will who reached out to Scanner just before the Prime Minister was assassinated...

I would have loved it if StrikeForce: Morituri had continued after Electric Undertow. The Horde is still on Mars (just in a new mutated form), Znell and Tanaka still have control of the world, Will (the A.I.) mentioned something about cyber-ninjas, the next round of VXX199 Morituri are incubating, and don't forget Kimmo's Morituri. It would have been too cool!
