The christian and Nielsen web page lists a number of articles published about the bridge, if anyone has the opportunity to follow them up:

"Civil Engineering", August 1935, pp. 232-248, and September, 1937, pp. 319-327. "Zentralblatt der Bauverwaltung", October, 1936. "Compressed Air Magazine", May, 1937. "The Structural Engineer", February, 1939. "Engineering News Record", 6th July, 1939, pp. 47-49. "La Technique des Travaux", Liege, June, 1936, pp. 380-386.

Overhead power lines

edit

I removed the line: 'The bridge is not only used for rail and road traffic. It carries also an overhead powerline [1].' A good section of the bridge is a flat roadway. It may be carrying power, but not 'overhead' powerlines. Can anyone supply more info? Sandpiper 18:02, 30 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Maybe that box underneath looking like a cable duct?
