editI am an AP Government student expanding this Representative's page for a school assignment — Preceding unsigned comment added by Needarb (talk • contribs) 04:04, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
There is a line in the article that states New York's fusion rules allow a candidate to run "as a member" of multiple parties. This is simply not true. Fusion rules allow a candidate to run as the nominee of two, or more, parties. The candidate, however, remains in a single party. NY electoral law does not allow any person to be a registered member of two parties. This is a small, but significant difference. I propose changing the language to, "New York State's fusion rules allow a candidate to run as the nominee of multiple parties".
If no one disagree, and I can't imagine they will, I will make the chance tomorrow perhaps. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.47.195.56 (talk) 06:32, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
Can who ever keeps editing Steve Israel's web page indicating that he is Roman Catholic please stop! He is and has always been Jewish. I am a constituent of his and I am Jewish. If he were to convert to Catholicism I'm sure we'd know about it (and would be very surprised). Thank you from AresKratos
Idon't know but isn't it kind of funny that the articles mentions his children as "two daughters" but gives the name of his dog...—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.100.19.238 (talk • contribs) 11:10, 28 January 2006 (UTC-5)
Perhaps it's to give them some privacy, as they're both underage Rory096 02:04, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
Is this a neutral article or a puff piece? I mean honestly, it reads like his reelection committee wrote it.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 217.132.20.201 (talk • contribs) 12:21, 4 February 2006 (UTC-5)
I agree - this totally reads like it was written by his campaign team. The phrase "vitally important" describing the committee he was on, the comment about him being the most productive freshman democrat... I'm going to change a couple of those and we'll see how long until the campaign changes it back... Timholland (talk) 04:55, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Timholland
Throughout the article some of the text can appear ambiguous and confusing, several times I jumped to think of the Nation of Israel and not Steve Israel. Any ideas on how to clarify this?
Is it really necessary to give politicians special treatment like this? Articles should not be protected unless they are actively being attacked. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.246.96.3 (talk) 19:05, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
