Page Improvement edit

I have decided to start improving this page regularly, having gotten to the final level of the game. MBHammond 20:23, 18 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Robo-Squidward's Existence edit

On the article, Robo-Squidward was scrapped from the game. Well I have the GBA version and Robo-Squidward was the third boss, replacing Robo-Spongebob, who in turn replaced Robo-Plankton as the final boss. King Jellyfish, Prawn, and Flying Dutchman were scrapped from the GBA version. The Duplicatron was also in the final battle.

Accidental Deletion? edit

For some extremely odd reason, the entire page (except for the title) was deleted, so I copied the most recent (non-deleted) article to the present article.

Major Bosses edit

Robot Sandy: The first robot boss. She can do a karate chop, "the old clothesline move" and a jump attack which stuns itself. You play as SpongeBob first to knock it's head on to the headlights. Then you play as Patrick to do the same thing, only pick up the head and toss it into the electric score board. You play as SpongeBob again, only to jump into the self destruct button under it's head. You battle her in the Poseidome.

robot patrick: second robot boss.he can do goo spin wich stuns itself, goo spit and bring down more goo.you play as spongbob and dodge his attacks when hes stunned smack him 1 time and repeat the cycle 2 more times to play as sandy.spongebob is frozen and you cant attack patrick so texas rope the texas trailer hooks and bring boxes down before or after he stuns himself (note that he will destroy boxes in his spin attack)and smack him repeat the cycle 2 more times to play as spongebob.use the same strategy you used on the first time using the bubble bowl do this 2 times and you will win.you battle it in the industreal park. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.32.75.73 (talk) 22:34, 16 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Clean-up edit

I don't know who made the gameplay section almost like a how-to manual, but whoever it was, it was WRONG. Wikipedia gives information, not how to do things. I have changed it the best I could. Monkeys 9711 (talk) 20:45, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Joe Whyte edit

someone should mention that Joe also plays mermaidman and Mr.Krabs in the ps2 version also. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.131.65.60 (talk) 19:33, 19 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wrong game. edit

In Shell City, the fire fruit is different. [citation needed]

Shell City is not in this game. I don't know what the level is where the fire fruit is different, so could someone fix it for me? Hfmmr (talk) 01:39, 5 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Inconsistency regarding sequel edit

From this page:
"A direct sequel to the events of this game was released 10 years later, titled SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge"

And from the Plankton's Robotic Revenge page:
"Despite having a similar plot, this game is not connected in any way to SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom"

Which one of these statements is actually true? 75.134.12.36 (talk) 22:44, 23 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I think more info should be added in the gameplay section. edit

I think the gameplay section is a bit too small. I think a little more info on gameplay could be added. By the way I love this game. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:5B0:22FF:3EF0:0:0:0:3B (talk) 13:51, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated edit

THQNordic just announced a remake of Battle for Bikini Bottom in their YouTube channel. I'm not joking; look it up. 188.247.27.95 (talk) 14:19, 5 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Splitting the page edit

I think we should split Rehydrated off into its own page. It seems notable enough in its own right. AntiGravityMaster (talk) 22:06, 19 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Personally I would disagree. Other then some updated visuals, soundtrack and the aditition of a multiplayer mode the game is still very much the same as it was orignally. That being said though, due to the orignally game differance between console and PC it can be confusing, plus having a seperate page allows to keep things cleaner so I won't argue aginst it when a page has already been created. SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom 2 edit

I've heard that SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom is getting a sequel. It stated that It will get a sequel confirmed in an interview from RidersDX and the producer for Rehydrated. --Stephenfisher2001 (talk) 15:22, 9 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I've watched the interview and as far as I can tell, they have things they would want to make in a sequel, but they don't have a green light yet. Therefore, it is not confirmed. - TheLegendaryN (talk) 20:42, 9 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

neutrality edit

Under reception, it reads "[...]Rob Pegley, a hater of the original series[...]" - which sounds incredibly biased. I dont know whether or not Rob Pegley is indeed a hater regarding spongebob, but that sentence sounds like it was written by someone who is greatly offended by the idea that there is anyone who doesnt like the game and wants to dismiss that opinion as purely subjective. That half sentence should either be completely removed or revised to be more factual (e.g. pointing to a credible source who questions Rob Pegleys stance) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Samaraner (talkcontribs) 14:19, 14 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Semi-protected edit request on 30 August 2023 edit

The article says that the game was released on October 29th, 2003 when these sources say it was released October 31th, 2003:

The first three are user submitted and not reliable. The last two I'm not familiar with, but don't look reliable either. IGN has October 29, MobyGames however mentions November 3. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 07:03, 30 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
