I just created this page. Every fact mentioned in it is either in the book or the Time Magazine article referenced at the bottom; I decided not to specifically footnote each fact as I went, or the entire article would have been cluttered with a footnote after each sentence. Edmund Perry → ? – The article is more about the crime incident and reactions to the event than about the person himself. Yes, he has a prestigeous background, but the background led to reactions from civilians and authorities. And it mentions the subject's two accomplices that attempted assault and larceny.
