Transliterations are a mess all throughout wikipedia edit

How is it ok to write Shabbethai Bass and Sifsei Chachamim in the same page? This a mix (roughly) of inappropriate and obsolete British English style transliterations and appropriate Ashkenazic transliteration and some inappropriate Sefardi transliteration. There is no consistency here, and not elsewhere in Wikipedia. It is appropriate to use the contemporary Sefardic transliterations when writing the names and writings of Sefaradi rabbanim and appropriate to use the contemporary Ashkenazic transliterations when referring to Ashkenazi rabbonim and their writings.

Shabbethai (British Empire-style transliteration, obsolete) -> Shabsai

Chachamim (Sefaradi) -> Chachomim (Ashkenazi)

Otherwise, many (most?) wikipedia pages smack of ignorance at best, and activism at worst; they are sloppy and embarrassing. 185.186.250.14 (talk)
