Talk:Secret of the Wings

Latest comment: 11 years ago by 188.253.135.246 in topic You sure about the title change?

Is release date correct?

edit

A flyer included in the Blu-Ray box for Great Fairy Rescue says release is Fall 2012, not 2011. 68.146.81.123 (talk) 16:46, 29 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

No, it's correct. --188.253.135.246 (talk) 10:42, 22 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

You sure about the title change?

edit

Because I thought I heard that Secret of the Wings was going to be a completely different separate movie? - Jasonbres (talk) 18:56, 28 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

What this source describes (same trailer, different title) seems to confirm that they're the same movie. However it seems to indicate that there's no "Tinker Bell" in the title. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 19:15, 28 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think you may be talking about the Pixie Hollow games. --188.253.135.246 (talk) 10:44, 22 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Release and Music Sections

edit

I was thinking about adding a release section to this article, specifically calling attention to the release date and the fact that the film is being released in 3-D. Because the film is a directed DVD release, I don't think that it is necessary to add a home media section. Also, I think we should remove the music section, because there are no sources. I searched around and couldn't find any relevant information related to the soundtrack.

Typically I would go ahead and make these changes, but I have a WP:COI working on this article. I am aware of the Wikipedia community's policies regarding WP:NPOV, and I wanted to get a second opinion first. If I don't hear from anyone within the next couple days, I will proceed under the impression that these edits are acceptable.

Went ahead and made these edits, as well as a few other minor changes. If anyone has any additional changes, feel free to chime in!

Theatrical Release?

edit

This poster on IMP Awards seems to suggest the film will be released in theaters, somewhere. Thoughts? --J.Severe (talk) 00:29, 16 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Well, the movie is released in theaters in France on october 10th, 2012. I see ads everywhere on the subway. Here, it's titled "Clochette et le Secret des Fées" (Tinker Bell and the Faeries' Secret). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.124.252.14 (talk) 08:36, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

It had a theatrical release in Australia too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.208.132.147 (talk) 08:49, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hi guys

I an a HUGE Bellarina (Bella Thorne Fan) so I couldn't help wanting to read the section that had her name in it.

It was the music section as you may know.

So I was wondering n"what is the soundtracks iTunes release date"

Can we add it to the artical please??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by BellaFan262 (talkcontribs) 21:01, 9 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Intro Paragraphs

edit

It was reported last week that this film will reveal that Tinker Bell has a sister. I think this could easily be added to the plot synopsis that follows the introductory paragraph.

I mentioned prior to a previous edit that I have a WP:COI, and would like check with the community before making this edit. If I don't hear back in the coming days, I will proceed under the understanding that this edit is acceptable. Thanks in advance!

Cast

edit

IMDb is not a reliable source of information for casting info. See WP:IMDB and WP:RS/IMDB for why. Info in the casting section of IMDb is user entered and not validated by anybody with real knowledge. A credit listed as rumored in IMDb illustrates the fact that the list is speculation. We have 3 very good references that give a list of the major cast. There is no reason to expand beyond that until either there is a more complete reference or the film has been released and the credits viewed. IMDb generally gets updated then as well with the real credits. Geraldo Perez (talk) 19:55, 21 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Agreed - this cast list will need some clean-up. Specifically - the Minister of Winter character is not present in this movie, nor in the credits. This will affect the Tinker Bell (film series) entry as well. For reference, the DVD/Blu-ray is available with credits, but before I make the edit(s), I'd like to be able to cite that. Is there a template for physical disc credits that aren't IMDB? JellieCat (talk) 00:43, 2 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Is Bella Thorne involved.
