Presidencies edit

This article should incorporate his previous two terms from his first presidency from 2003 to 2010. Similar to Presidencies of Grover Cleveland who also had non-consecutive terms as President of the United States. WikiCleanerMan (talk) 20:25, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Portuguese article on Lula's first two terms: pt:Governo Lula (2003–2011). Erick Soares3 (talk) 20:31, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
I guess they'll create another article for his second tenure. But we are lacking an article on his first presidency on this Wikipedia which kinda makes it feel we're going in reverse order. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 20:40, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
The article pt:Governo Lula (2003–2011) is already about Lula's first (2003-2006) and second (2007-2011) presidency. The only option is to translate that quite long article... I think that the Portuguese Wiki created a new article for the third because there are 3 presidencies between when Lula left the government and his reelection. Erick Soares3 (talk) 10:11, 2 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
By second tenure I meant his reelection for this third term starting next year. His first tenure means his first two terms from 2003 to 2010 which is just referred to as a single presidency because he served continuously. But yeah, I think translating that article is the right step. So we should change the article title to "Second Presidency of Presidency of Lula da Silva" without the year. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 14:27, 2 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@WikiCleanerMan: I started First presidency of Lula da Silva and I hope that the public will help to translate it. Is odd that no one started this page until now (the original is from 2004). I will change the title from this article to "Second Presidency..." Erick Soares3 (talk) 10:23, 3 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Second presidency of Lula da SilvaThird presidency of Lula da Silva – Lula was first president from 2002 to 2006, and he was reelected for the 2006-2010 period. That was his second presidency. The current one is the third. Two consecutive presidencies are not counted as a single one. Cambalachero (talk) 16:18, 30 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Oppose. A re-election is a continuation of a presidency in Wikipedia's eyes. See Presidency of Barack Obama. Esolo5002 (talk) 01:24, 31 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Oppose, there is no need to count every consecutive election as a new presidency. There is a continuity. --Killuminator (talk) 07:21, 31 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

In my opinion, those images are too big. I’d reduce their size if no one objects. RodRabelo7 (talk) 04:06, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
