Notability
editAre there any sources for the notability of this band? --Neon white (talk) 22:16, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
I looked through the things that make a band considered notable, and I can't see why Scary Kids Scaring Kids has a questionable notability. Acording to the article on notablity the following are considered notable: 'Has gone on an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country, reported in reliable sources' Well I don't know where exactly to get reliable sources, SKSK have toured North America (I'm unsure if they've toured other countries) and I've seen them several times play larger concert venues 'Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable).' They have three albums on Imortal Records, which is one of the most major record labels out there. Many of the other criteria I can neither confirm nor deny SKSK meeting. Although I also add they are a decently populer band with many fans, and that in itself, along with the meeting of the above criteria, makes me believe they are indeed notable for inclusion. - I believe it has to be either their own headline tour or other major tour. I wouldn't consider Immortal Records an important independent label and it certainly is not a major label or owned by one, it's pretty small and according to wikipedia it has ceased trading and only had 10 bands when it did. Popularity does not equal notability. If they had many fans it follows that they would have charted with a single or had numerous articles written about them. They have neither. --Neon white (talk) 05:24, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Im from the United Kingdom and I have seen Scary Kids Scaring Kids twice here whilst playing major tours. Considering that this means they are able to tour majorly whilst even in a different contient should but to rest and qualms anyone has about notabiility. --Wikifresh65 (talk) 02:00, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure that Scary Kids Scaring Kids have supported Fightstar on a European tour (they did at least support them in the UK), so they are certainly notable enough. James25402 (talk) 13:37, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Musical Genre
editIt's a well known fact that this band is post-hardcore, and their latest album has some indie influences, but i really don't think that they should be classified as emo. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.88.153.44 (talk) 02:34, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
You've been vandalising pages with stupidity and now you're here trying to make better something you think the band is or isnt? You lost the award for Best Troll award. ¤IrønCrøw¤ (Speak to Me) 00:49, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
