Any pictures?

edit

Are there any pictures of S.Khanolkar? 212.188.108.44 (talk) 15:03, 11 June 2009 (UTC) {{help me}}Reply

I've found this on wikimedia itself... can we put this here? Assuming that its on wikimedia its mush be free of copyright, right?
Also there is another image here... but I'm not sure if its her picture.... if somebody confirms that it her picture I can - and I will - get a CC license for this one... --SanskritGuy (talk) 10:24, 5 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Hello SanskritGuy. That first image seems to be hosted at the Hindi Wikipedia. I don't read Hindi so I can't tell if the image is copyright-compliant, but it is not on Wikimedia Commons and it is too recent to be public domain by default so it could be problematic. I'm not sure if the second image is of Khanolkar, you might try asking at the reference desk. Hope this is useful, and if you need more help just put {{helpme}} on your talkpage. Thanks for your help.. the hindi wiki does not mentions anything about the copyright. The user who uploaded the file has got her talk page protected so I cant message her! thank you once more time! --SanskritGuy (talk) 11:26, 5 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

This article is close to B. But, now it has a single reference. Isn't there any other reference for the subject? Also, please an image. Thanks. GDibyendu (talk) 17:24, 13 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

MilHis project consideration

edit

@AustralianRupert: The subject was the desginer Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military decoration, and is closely associated with the Indian Army. However, I am a bit confused to decide whether the subject falls within the scope of our project or not. Your thoughts please, Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 14:06, 3 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

G'day, I'm not sure to be honest. I think that it probably depends upon whether or not her involvement with designing the PVC is one of the things that makes her notable. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 22:02, 3 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Pinging AshLin for advice. Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 14:34, 5 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Per @AustralianRupert:'s point, Savitri Khanolkar is noteworthy for this act only, so including her in WikiProject Military History|South Asian group is in order, imho. AshLin (talk) 15:01, 6 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
