movable bridges in CT edit

The article currently claims the Saugatuck River Bridge "is the oldest surviving movable bridge" in Connecticut. What is the source for that claim? It may be true, but I am not seeing a source. The HAER report states it is is the only hand-operated swing bridge, or some statement like that, which is different. I'm not seeing that statement in the NRHP application either.

By the way, what other movable bridges are there in CT? (I know of at least one, the Mystic one.) It would seem appropriate to mention others or link to them in a See also type of way. doncram (talk) 16:10, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

There are three swing bridges in the state (East Haddam Bridge, Central Avenue in Bridgeport, and this one). There are two bascule bridges that are well-known (Washington Bridge and the Mystic River Bridge). There are also a couple of minor bascule bridges in Bridgeport as well.
