Are you sure it's Orchard Towers?

In my experience, SPG's prowled along Orchard' Road'', especially near the Marriott and Paragon Mall, not the "floors of whores" at orchard towers- as far as I'm aware Orchard Towers is solely famous for the hookers ahem party hostesses, NOT SPG's.Starstylers (talk) 10:04, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

"Asian" is not a race, there is no such race called "Asian". So you can stop making such edits, "Asian" has and never will only mean "East Asian". You need to understand that. If you don't know what "Asian" means then please travel to Asia and actually speak to real Asians and you will understand that "Asian" is never used as a race. This is a stereotype about Singaporean women and it applies to Indian Singaporean women. Who are you to decide who the sterotype is applied to? You have no right so you can stop. The stereotype is not used against other Asian women outside of Singapore and Malaysia because not all Asians wear sarongs. Indians are Asian, specially South Asian, and you need to accept and respect that because it's a fact. Like I said, travel to the Asian continent and learn the real definition of Asian. "A fetishist"?

Under the heading "Common stereotypes" the final sentence states "A Sarong party girl is commonly perceived as a fetishist who is racist and discriminates against their own community and race stemming from self-hatred, while showing a favoritism towards white people and effectively abandoning their Asian identity."(emphasis added) I don't think that "fetishist" is the appropriate term here. In the context of human sexuality, a "fetish" is something that causes sexual arousal in and of itself (such as a woman's foot, or a particular garment). In some cases, the object itself may not even need to exist with the fetishist; it is sufficient to imagine it, to cause arousal. But there is nothing about the type of woman being described in this article that suggests that she is actually sexually aroused by white men (or the idea of them), merely that she prefers them, for whatever reason(s). Unless someone cares to muster a convincing argument for why it is appropriate here, I will soon remove it. Bricology (talk) 02:53, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
