Removed machine translation edit

Yesterday an anonymous IP deleted most of the existing text and inserted in its place a machine translation, perhaps from the Thai wiki via Google translations. This text was utter nonsense (if anyone doesn't believe me, just try reading it in the history). Therefore I have reverted. Andrew Dalby 16:21, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Spelling edit

Spellings of proper names, especially that of persons, should follow what can be established as "correct", rather than simply the most common. One of the disadvantages of the simple Google test is that is tends to get polluted by unreliable sources. It is not uncommon that when Wikipedia unfortunately picks the wrong spelling, it gets propagated through forks and mirrors and the wrong spelling thus becomes common.

In this case, sources which confirm "Saovabha Phonsri" include this page on palaces.thai.net, which is administered by the Bureau of The Royal Household. Google Book Search reveals five sources using "Phongsri", vs only one with the B. --Paul_012 (talk) 11:44, 16 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
