Meaning of Cogenor

edit

What's the meaning of Cogenor. What does Cogenor mean?--Jaguarlaser (talk) 20:22, 28 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Think it was a misspelling of congener. I've reworded that section without the word as it is self-evident that the species are from the same genus.--Melburnian (talk) 01:15, 29 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

I found that term mostly in articles about Australia. Then is it Australian English?--Jaguarlaser (talk) 06:22, 29 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Here "cogener" (rather than "cogenor") is given as a variant for "congener". "Congener" appears to be well-used in Australian scientific literature [1][2][3]--Melburnian (talk) 09:42, 29 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

I found multiple problems with external links, but as I don't know what to do or how to fix them, I'll share the issues I discovered with the links:

14, 15 and 16 - pages no longer exist;

17 - comes up under a web archive page;

18 - has no external link;

19 - comes up under a web archive page;

24 and 26 - pages not found;

27 - site can’t be reached;

28 - links only to a CSIRO publishing home page and not to the specific pdf document;

29 - comes up under a web archive page;

30 - The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later;

32 - The page you were looking for doesn't exist;

33 - comes up under a web archive page; and

34 - not sure how this page on reeds is useful, other than reeds were used to make decorations and seeds from this plant were used to make decorations by, but the external page makes no reference to use of this plant's seeds. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tzali (talkcontribs) 15:53, 13 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
