Antiquity claims edit
An IP editor has been edit-warring claiming that the Sangam period dates back to 31st century BCE. The two sources given are:
- historyfiles.co.uk, which is a self-published blog. Not a reliable source for anything.
- Upinder Singh's history text, p.27, which only says that there are legends claiming some exhorbitant time periods, the sum total of which far exceed even 31 centuries. She nowhere said that these claims are ever taken seriously.

Kautilya always doesn't want to take the claim serious even the ref has been provided with approximate timeline of the Early Cholas.
Doug Weller By looking at the contribution of Kautilya3 I could see he/she must be affiliated to the North India's Hindi/Urdu speaking Organisation. Always associated in disrupting / moving contents which might become antogonist to their Urdu/ Hindi speaking groups from the other language groups
As an additional info. The Hindi, the language spoken in the North India is barely 200 year old language. Hindi language is just Persian origin Urdu camouflaged under Sanskrit Devanagari script
With this short living history when these North Indians came across any article on the long history of South India, even with all the references they just undo it and disrupt the edit by giving lame response by falsely assuming themselves as over smart.
Kautilya3 and Rasnaboy are the example from the contribution they have made till now.

- @Namooru: The History files page you link to also has no author, clearly not a reliable source. And Upinder Singh does not support your edits, but you've already been told that. Continue these edits her and at Chola will get you blocked. Doug Weller talk 13:45, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
tall claims made about sangam age edit
