Talk:Sahitya Akademi Award

To someone in India edit

Is that website with all the advertising links really the official Sahitya Akademi site?...or is that just what I'm getting in the States? If you know, please leave me a message. WQUlrich (talk) 21:31, 27 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page edit

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Triggered by \bindianetzone\.com\b on the local blacklist

Proposed merge with List of writers who have returned the Sahitya Akademi Award edit

Unnecessary WP:CFORK bloated due to WP:Recentism. Can easily be merged with main article where a long para already sits. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 05:37, 14 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Merge Per Dharmadhyaksha. Yashthepunisher (talk) 10:52, 20 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Redirect without a merge. Nothing more than what's already covered is required. This shouldn't be a laundry list of who returned something, then re-accepted it and what not. You have the issue discussed, that should be it. Any detailed coverage belongs in the article of the individuals who have/are returning it. —SpacemanSpiff 12:44, 20 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Redirect without a merge Footnotes would be more than sufficient in the original lists. - Vivvt (Talk) 10:43, 2 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Merge: Agree with Dharmadhyaksha. List of writers who have returned the Sahitya Akademi Award does not deserve a separate page on wiki. The returning of awards episode is very much part of the history of the award. If those who accepted it are being listed, those who returned it must also be listed.-Mohanbhan (talk) 09:25, 8 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Fellowships section - Merge with Fellowship page? edit

Since there is a separate page for the Sahitya Akademi Fellowships that contains details on the Anand Coomaraswamy Fellowship and the Premchand Fellowship, I propose that these two subsections be either deleted from this page or linked directly to the Fellowship page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by R1988 (talkcontribs) 22:41, 22 March 2017 (UTC) R1988 (talk) 05:19, 23 March 2017 (UTC) (sorry, forgot to sign my comment)Reply
