Hi Marcas.oduinn. You added a merge tag last February to propose a merge from Saran mac Cáelbad to Sárán mac Cóelbad. While, based on the lead of the articles, the subject of both seem(s) to be the same person, and that would seem to warrant addressing (with a merge/redirect of one to the other), I'm not sure exactly what you were/are proposing to do. Not least as no discussion thread was opened and so no discussion on the possible solutions has taken place. Can you confirm what it is, specifically, that you are proposing? So others can "weigh in" on that proposal? Thanks. (Otherwise, absent some form of discussion, the merge tag serves no purpose...) Guliolopez (talk) 18:20, 7 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Support merge, from the poorer-referenced Saran mac Cáelbad to Sárán mac Cóelbad. There are details which don't agree, but also those that are identical. Even if there were two historic people with those names, they would be best described on one page. Klbrain (talk) 16:45, 21 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Resolved - OK. Absent input from the nominator or anyone other than myself and Klbrain (thanks), I've gone ahead with the merge and redirect. Closing thread. Guliolopez (talk) 16:46, 3 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
