Strontium decays via beta plus??
editI just edited this sentence, which previously said "Rubidium-82 is produced through beta plus decay from its parent nucleus, strontium-82." This is pretty much obviously false, right?
Isotopes of strontium says that 82Sr decays via electron capture. The diagram/figure on the present page (Rubidium-82) shows 82Sr going to 82Rb via electron capture. Seems like 2 out of 3 locations agree with EC. In any case, I just removed the decay mode, leaving it vague, rather than change it from β+ to EC. (Just in case those 2 of 3 locations were incorrect about EC.) --Officiallyover (talk) 14:39, 24 August 2023 (UTC)
- I changed it now to EC; beta plus was an error. Complex/Rational 17:46, 24 August 2023 (UTC)
