My Favorite Things?

Definitely there is no place in an encyclopedic article for "My favorite...one of my favorites..." The individual pieces can still be discussed (perhaps even in their own articles) without calling attention to them as "favorites," although the argument can also be made that they should not be singled out solely on this virtue, if there is nothing else to distinguish them from the rest of his work. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.174.7.208 (talk) 11:07, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Hyphenated name?

Is the dude's name actually "Robert ParkeHarrison" or is it "Robert Parke-Harrison"? Perhaps to ask this is splitting hairs, but it is kind of confusing. --SeanQuixote | talk | my contribs 08:13, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

ParkeHarrison's website spells it without the hyphen. Whether that's his legal name or not is another question, but it is, at least, the name he is known by and the one he uses when referring to himself. I know, it is a little odd. DavidJHowe (talk) 20:22, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Remove essays

I propose we remove the two essays. They are wonderful essays, but they violate wikipedia's policy on Neutral point of view and No original research. If they are published else where, then perhaps a link to them from this page would be acceptible. In any case, if I don't see or hear any objections in the next month or so, I will remove them. Sexist article - where is Shana's credit??

Why doesn't Shana have her own page? Why is the work primarily accredited to Robert? Why does Shana exist only in parentheses when they collaborate on their projects? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Erinf123 (talk • contribs) 00:55, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

Exactly what I came here to say — this is baffling. Their website and exhibit credits all list the art as collaborative and their website title is "Shana and Robert ParkeHarrison." Kvng, I know nothing about this pair's work other than what Wikipedia tells me. I agree that it's wrong to credit one person for what has been created by two. However, Draft:Shana ParkeHarrison doesn't seem to show any particular significance about work she may have done by herself. If this is indeed so, then I recommend the precedent provided by the article Bernd and Hilla Becher (about a particularly prominent photographer couple): I have no opinion on whether it should be titled "Shana and Robert ParkeHarrison" or "Robert and Shana ParkeHarrison". -- Hoary (talk) 03:04, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
