From what I've read, when the band was Atomic Mass, they went through at least 2 singers before Joe Elliott joined. However, Rick Savage was reportedly already in the band back then, but as a guitarist instead of as a bassist. They reportedly went through at least two bassists (while Rick Savage was a guitarist) before Rick Savage switched over to bass.

- Savage and lead singer Joe Elliott are the only two remaining original members of the band. With drummer Rick Allen, they are also the only members who have performed on every album.
