(The 3rd Baron's father, Thomas, predeceased the 3rd Baron's grandfather, George the 2nd Baron). He was a first cousin of John Lumley, 1st Baron Lumley."

I guess they're (the 1st Viscount and the 1st Baron) the second cousins, not the first ones. Apparently, their common ancestor is their great-grandfather, Richard Lumley, 3rd Baron Lumley. --INS Pirat (talk) 15:14, 30 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
