George Osborne, The Evening Standard Editor, and formerly Chancellor of the Exchequer under Prime Minister David Cameron, remarked, "The new leader of UKIP is called Mr Dick Braine - really" [1][2] - a moniker that newspapers in Britain and Australia have also associated with the figure.   Not done. It's not clear what change(s) you want to make. If you want to add this statement somewhere, then where? But in this case specifically, why? It doesn't seem to add anything of value to the article. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 02:40, 11 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Where: To add to the end of this Wikipedia article. It is highly relevant, featuring in mainstream papers, such as the Express, the Independent, the Daily Mail, and even on Australian news. [10][11][12] The Wikipedia article on Menzies Campbell acknowledges that he is often known as Ming Campbell.

Change/extend "He was endorsed by Batten in the contest":

He was endorsed by Batten in the contest, and he has been at the centre of controversy over his description of Katie Hopkins, Tommy Robinson and Milo Yiannopoulos as 'cutting edge free-speech advocates.' [1] James777acono (talk) 17:17, 11 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Not done. Claim not supported by source. Moreover, phrasing like "..."been at the center of controversy" is not encyclopedic. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 17:52, 11 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Deacon Vorbis, I don't know if you are a Braine fan, but you are rejecting any edit that may not be in his favour. Braine's passionate support of Tommy Robinson was made most clear in that article, it was mentioned by him during multiple leadership hustings, and he re-affirmed it just today on Talk Radio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INNWJONE0ns James777acono (talk) 02:15, 13 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
