Funny how people mistake the preposition "da" as part of her surname. My surname has the preposition "da", but is was misinterpreted in the country where I live for "Da". Being from her country, I can properly say her name is "Rebecca da Costa", not "Rebecca Da Costa". It doesn't matter how many times you google "Da" instead of "da". Her birth certificate reads "da", just like mine. That's why I know her name here is wrong.

Those prepositions are part of surnames. If it's not a given name, it is a surname. --ExperiencedArticleFixer (talk) 04:59, 11 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
