inline citations edit

Does anybody mind if I remove the citation tags?. The article now cites 14 sources in the form of inline citations of which 13 are internet accessible. Virtually everything in the article comes from one of these sources and I think it looks clumsy to place an inline citation on every sentence or even every paragraph. I have waited a week and nobody has responded. So, I will remove the tags. Izzy (talk) 15:11, 25 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

copy editing edit

Does anybody mind if I remove the copy edit requirement tag?. The tag implies that there is some deficiency in terms of writing quality, and I do not see that in the article.Izzy (talk) 09:00, 27 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have waited a week, and nobody has responded. So, I will remove the tag. Izzy (talk) 21:39, 3 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

audience catchment area edit

Even 270's own literature places Manchester outside the audience catchment area. See [1]. Manchester is on the opposite side of the Pennines to 270 so I doubt that you would have got regular usable reception there. That said, it was reported that you could pick up 270 in Manchester and even London occasionally - mostly on summer nights. It was a faint signal that constantly faded in and out. I have waited a week , and nobody has responded. So, I will remove the statement that 270 had an audience in Manchester. Izzy (talk) 21:23, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

"tribute station and proposed 50th anniversary events" edit

May I suggest that references to the above are removed until they have actually happened?. As they stand, those references are simply advertising. Once they have actually happened and have turned out to be significant events, then maybe reference to them can be added?. Izzy (talk) 10:58, 26 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Nobody has responded after 24 hours, so I will remove the text referred to. It is pure advertising and shouldn't be in a WP article. Izzy (talk) 16:51, 27 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

There are whole paragraphs without any cites. You may know where a fact comes from but our readers may not. Cites have been requested so should be supplied. Keith D (talk) 16:12, 9 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
