I appreciate the work that has been done in gathering the coordinates on this page, but a disambig page is probably not the right location for this information. Perhaps moving it to a page that lists cities and towns in Afghanistan? --Elonka 06:42, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

- I'm not aware of other meanings, but that's the usual week spot on Wiki: not built up systematically, with a clear definition of the topic at hand set first. And disamb. pages playing two roles when there isn't an article actually dealing with the (main) meaning. Languages missing edit
It's from Arabic (qal'a with an ending, -t) if I'm not wrong, from where it spread to Persian (which influenced Urdu & Hindi), and to Turkish and so forth. Arminden (talk) 23:27, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
