This article is rather confusing, but there is some good info in it. edit

This article is rather confusing, but there is some good info in it. The contributor obviously has a huge library of film reference books, which as a film history buff, I wish I had. (Universalstonecutter (talk) 06:30, 25 April 2016 (UTC)). I have tried to clarify some of it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. JGKlein (talk) 21:10, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

The quotes should go to Wikiquote.   Will Beback  talk  21:20, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I agree. The quotes are somewhat out of place here. I am going to try to make contact with the contributor and discuss this with him (or her). This person put in a lot of good faith effort, and I want to approach the matter in a diplomatic way without offending. In the meantime, I may touch up some of the quotes, with the goal of making them more interesting and understandable to a broader group of readers, and then eventually moving them to Wikiquote. The section needs some retooling to make it more understandable and interesting to a broader readership. Many of the films and people mentioned are from the silent era!
Thanks so much for your input. I welcome more from others. JGKlein (talk) 22:24, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
P.S. I think the person who created it is Universalstonecutter. I have sent this person an e-mail. JGKlein (talk) 22:38, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
