sales volume discussion

edit

I'd like to follow up on that as I believe Pro-ject is the biggest player of "new" (as opposed to refurbished/secodn hand") TTs for the audiophile market (I.e. not the DJ market, for which Technics, Numark and Vestax woudl be much bigger). One (visibly not independent, but thorough) source [1] quotes Pro-ject as being the World's largest manufacturer of turntables...but I beleive this is true only of HiFi TT. Some more info can be found on the US importer's website [2] I have also asked them for their sales volume. An email from their international relations dpt quotes 3500 TTs per month...but that is not really acceptabel as a reliable source is it? I am still lookign for more data --MarmotteiNoZ 11:01, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Biased description?

edit

This description looks like a PR statement to me. The following lines caught my attention:

  • "From the tiniest screw to the chassis, everything is done by technicians."
  • "A strict four step quality control ensures that everything works as intended."
  • "By shrinking the cabinets to a miniature size, they are able to save costs and offer a true price to performance relation."

The first two may be somewhat factual but really sound like advertising lines. As for the third one, it does not seem factual at all to me. Does anyone share my opinion or am I tagging too aggressively here?

I agree with all three examples. It's terrible and needs a rewrite. 2.99.36.149 (talk) 05:51, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
