gLord vs proto-Luke

edit

If I'm not mistaken, most of these scholars hold the view that Marcion used an early version of Luke and that gLuke was based on either this proto-Luke or Marcion's gospel, with anti-Marcionite additions. This wouldn't make Marcion the author of the first gospel (especially if we assume his gospel was nearly identical to proto-Luke) as this article seems to imply. --Huffendal (talk) 20:20, 8 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

According to one account, Marcion's gospel began "In the fifteenth year of the Emperor Tiberius, God descended into Capernaum...", in which case it's obviously not the source of Luke. I tried leaving a message to the main author of this article when it was still a draft, but I'm not sure where that comment is... AnonMoos (talk) 15:08, 9 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
