The cited reference doesn't state that she was the chancellor at the open university. The current chancellor is Professor Colvin Goonaratna and the vice-chancellor is Professor S.A. Ariadurai. Dan arndt (talk) 07:36, 12 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Abishe:, the cited reference clearly states "Sivasegaram joined the Open University in Nawala" however not that she was ever the Chancellor at the University. Dan arndt: I didn't notice the talk page in recent days and I am sorry for the mistake. I added the fact that she joined Open University in Nawala as chancellor after returning to Sri Lanka. Yes with a bit misunderstanding I added the fact that she joined the university as chancellor. It's still confusing me that the source clearly doesn't say for what purpose she joined Open University. So I assumed she joined the university as chancellor and added that fact. I can certainly remove that sentence to avoid further complications. Thanks. Abishe (talk) 05:39, 14 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
