Regarding red herrings.
editI can't remember exactly what they were, but Zork 1, 2 & 3 themselves had some red herrings. In Zork 1, I recall some objects in a mine that did nothing. They location re-appeared in Zork 3, and I remember thinking at the time that at last I would find a use for the object. But no, it was just a red herring again.
So to say Planetfall had the first red herrings is incorrect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.149.221.126 (talk) 21:38, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- I think it says "extensive use of red herrings". The article doesn't claim this game is the first one with them, just the first with a lot of them. — Frecklefσσt | Talk 13:32, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Citation collection
editFound a citation that might be relevant, but don't have time to add it to the article? Add it here! Have time to flesh out the article, but don't know what to add? Look into one of these! — Alan De Smet | Talk 03:14, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Changed Criticism
editI'm going to change 'Criticism' to 'Reaction' since that seems to fit better. I don't think that that's the best fit, though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tyrannus007 (talk • contribs) 21:37, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
Notes
edit"Both Planetfall and Stationfall were novelized by Arthur Byron Cover. "
Not quite. Both are sequels, rather than novelizations. BurkeDevlin (talk) 18:38, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
Excessive Spoilers?
editWhile I realize this game is now nearly 30 years old, is it really necessary to provide the excessive number of spoilers and solutions present in the narrative? I understand the objective is relation of the plot, not marketing material, but it seems unnecessary to relate so many points I recall presenting challenge and enjoyment in the game. I'd be happy to take a crack at filtering some of these out while still maintaining some revelation of the narrative, but I wanted to discuss this first and get some reaction on this.

There was an attempt in the mid-1990s to develop a Planetfall sequel, as they'd done with Return to Zork and Zork Nemesis. It seems to have fallen through. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 15:22, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
