"there really is no set chorus/refrain" edit

Untitled edit

Isn't this inaccurate? There is a repeat of the lines

Pink...it was love at first sight Yeah, pink...when I turn out the light And pink gets me high as a kite And I think everything is going to be alright No matter what we do tonight

...That's a chorus. 12.162.122.6 (talk) 20:10, 20 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I agree. Those lyrics return 3 times during the song. (The third time, "pink gets me high as a kite" is changed to "pink, it's like red but not quite," but it is common to alter lyrics like this in rock songs for a final chorus.) That alone should justify calling it a chorus. Additionally, the instrumentation is much more emphatic for the 5 lines that we are referring to as the chorus (I think the verses are mostly acoustic guitar while the chorus has full band plus harmony vocals, but I'm going from memory), which helps emphasize the fact that it's the chorus.

I think part of the confusion (on the part of the original author of the article) is that the chord structure is essentially the same for the verse and chorus, and that's why they said (incorreclty IMHO) that there was no set chorus. Another element of confusion is that the majority of the lines of the song (both verse and chorus) begin with the word "pink." Still I think most listeners would agree that the section beginning "Pink...it was love at first sight" is the chorus. Jkisch (talk) 06:20, 11 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Is it just me, or is the synopsis for this video WAY too detailed? The description is practically a shot-by-shot breakdown of the entire video. Drpickem (talk) 07:02, 15 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Definitely. The current synopsis is ridiculous. 209.90.140.72 (talk) 20:10, 25 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

What really gets me is the atrocious grammar. This was definitely typed up by someone who doesn't speak English as a first language. Usually, I correct these when I see them, but there's so much here I don't know where to begin. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rattlesnake269 (talkcontribs) 10:00, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
